KEYNOTE SPEAKER: DR. MATTHEW BARRETT
Dr. Barrett is an Associate Professor of Neurology who specializes in seeing patients with movement disorders. He also specializes in treating conditions with overlapping movement disorders and cognitive disorders such as Parkinson disease, dementia with Lewy bodies, Huntington’s disease and progressive supranuclear palsy. His research focuses on improving treatment of cognitive impairment in Parkinson disease and dementia with Lewy bodies through better understanding of these diseases. During his fellowship, he earned a Master’s of Science in Clinical Research Methods from Albert Einstein College of Medicine. He joined the Virginia Commonwealth University faculty in 2019.
This symposium would not be possible without generous donations from our sponsors. Please take time to visit their booths and thank them!
